Junior Firefighter Colton Beres recently completed his Eagle Scout Project in early September. His project included cleaning and repainting the World War 2 era Sherman tank located at the Moshannon Valley Veterans Memorial Wall in Rush Twp, Philipsburg. The Sherman tank itself is celebrating its 85th anniversary with the first being completed in September of 1941. Colton along with his fellow Scouts, family members, members of the Mountain Top Fire Company, and members of The Warrior Works Foundation dedicated their time to help complete this task. Colton’s project is dedicated to all Veterans. Congratulations Colton and Thank You!
