Company 13 was alerted to assist the Philipsburg Fire Department with a reported dwelling fire with entrapment, multiple calls reporting a house explosion with smoke and flames visible. Engine Rescue 13 responded with a crew of 7. Upon arrival crew deployed a 1 3/4 attack line to assist with fire suppression. Engine Rescue 13 was supplied by Engine Tanker 17. Tragically, this fire had one fatality and we extended our deepest condolences to the family and friends affected. Engine Rescue 13 operated for 4 hours. |
