| Winter Storm Fern Report
We kept busy during the winter storm with 5 medical related emergency calls with 4 being handled from the Osceola Mills station and 1 being handled by the Sandy Ridge station. There were no weather-related calls for our service. We would like to express our gratitude to Columbia Volunteer Fire Company, Osceola Mills Borough and PENNDOT for their assistance on a couple calls. We are fortunate to have a great working relationship with these partners. During this period the fire department responded to a reported dwelling fire assisting the Moshannon Valley Fire Dept in Bigler Twp.
We would like to remind everyone to please shovel your walks and clear your driveways. This will help emergency responders immensely with getting to you or a loved one in a timely manner in the event of an emergency. |
