First Due Dwelling Fire |

| Call # 83. 12/1/25. 0450 hours Box 13-10 Company 13 along with mutual aid companies were alerted for a working dwelling fire with possible entrapment at 407 State St in Sandy Ridge. Upon arrival of Chief 13, it was quickly determined there was no entrapment and everyone was accounted for uninjured. Address was found to be 415 State St. Found a two-story dwelling with an attached garage. The garage was completely involved with fire extending into the house rapidly due to windy conditions. Engine Rescue 13 established its own water supply and deployed the deck gun, a 2 1/2 and (2) 1 3/4 lines beginning fire suppression. Upon arrival of mutual aid companies from Columbia Volunteer Fire Company Philipsburg Fire Department, Houtzdale-Ramey Fire Company they assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. We thank everyone for their assistance today. Ambulance 13-1 and Ambulance 13-2 provided the fire scene stand by and rehab services. |
