| FD Box 13-20, EMS Box 13-14
Company 13 Fire & EMS was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of Tyrone Pike & Fire Tower Rd, Rush Twp. Reported a 3-vehicle accident with 2 children on scene, unknown injury. Engine Rescue 13, Ambulance 13-1 and Ambulance 13-2 responded. Units arrived on scene and found a rear end collision involving 3 vehicles with 2 vehicles being disabled and fluids leaking. All occupants were out of the vehicles, and 2 minor injuries were reported. Engine Rescue 13 crew performed fluid control and traffic control while EMS began patient care and subsequently transported 2 patients to the ED for evaluation of minor injuries. Company 13 went available after vehicles were towed from the scene. Company 13 operated on scene with 6 volunteers and 4 EMS personnel for approximately 2 hours. Assisting on scene were Medic 23, Emigh Towing, Gio Towing, and PSP. |
